CBS News to Lay Off 6% of Staff, Shut Down CBS News Radio
CBS News will cut roughly 6% of its workforce in the latest cost-saving measures under Paramount Skydance’s new management. The division will also shut down its century-old CBS News Radio service — the outlet that once carried Edward R. Murrow’s reports and currently supplies about 700 stations.
