Corning Inc. to Cease Operations in North Carolina and Layoff 123 Workers
Corning Inc. will cease operations at a 780,000-square-foot distribution center in Eastern North Carolina, outsourcing its functions as the company expands other facilities in the state. The move will result in the layoff of 123 workers.
