Costar, Which Operates Homes.com and Apartments.com, Conducts Second Round of Massive Layoffs

CoStar Group has carried out another round of layoffs at its downtown Richmond headquarters, affecting employees who work on the Homes.com platform. The exact number of people impacted has not been released. This is the company's second significant round of reductions in under a year; in February 2025, more than 100 Richmond staffers were laid off as the company increased its use of artificial intelligence.
