Gallo Wine is Laying Off Nearly 100 Employees and Closing a Major Napa Valley Wine-Making Facility

California wine producer Gallo is cutting nearly 100 jobs and shutting a major winemaking facility in Napa Valley. The Modesto-based company said the reductions are needed to respond to market conditions and shifting customer preferences. A Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notice filed with the state shows 93 employees at five locations will be affected.
